We are now slowly coming to the end of another busy and successful season.
We have had very pleasing results from our team of young horses and jockeys this season.
We had a successful BSPS Winter Championship show, taking 1st place with Coedfryn Secret Whisper in the restricted open 143cms. SHP class and took 3rd place in the restricted open M&M WHP class with newly broken 4 yr old Fairlies Red Flare, along with the other five ponies we took all being in the top 10 placings in every class entered.

Amongst the busy showing and WHP classes we have managed to squeeze in some BE events as well, making a good start with Touch of Tartan (Tigger) and Birchcol Raquelle (Pinky) coming through from Intro to Novice successfully as 5 yr olds which makes them very exciting prospects for the 2010 season.

Tigger who is by Bellevue Royal Tartan ( a successful sire of top WHP's) also enjoyed his time to show off by winning the Sport Horse Championship for the second year running at Pembrokeshire County Show.

Pinky turned her hoof to Int WHP for Amy's final year and was very successful at the BSPS Summer Championship Show having a 4th, 7th, 9th in the small opens and went on to win a big class at the Welsh Championship show making a great end to Int. WHP classes.

Prince a really fabulous horse has had a wonderful but unlucky season , jumping so well but gaining mostly 2nds and 3rds in qualifying classes so has not quite made it to HOYS this year. 1st and Champion Sunnybank, 3rd RIHS qualifier Hartpury, double clear ODE Cleobury Mortimer, 2nd Newbury RIHS qualifier, 5th Addington RIHS qualifier, 3rd Shropshire and West Midlands HOYS qualifier, 1st and reserve champion Pencoed, 2nd Leyland Court HOYS qualifier, 2nd Pembs County Show, BSPS Summer Champs 2n open, 3rd HOYS, 4th Premier League, 3rd Morton in Marsh HOYS qualifier.

He is now looking forward to the M&M Championships and jumping in the Blue Riband final. Also going to this will be Fiarlies Red Flare (Charlie) a 4yr old section D with the same potential and hoping to follow in Princes' footsteps next season.

Mair Elliot and Barcardi Breezer, a new partnership have done very well this year, winning their first PC ODE and qualifying for the PC Champs in dressage.
High Court Appeal continued to be a star gaining mostly top 10 placings at BE Novice level, he also had time to teach a few youngsters to ride and jump and gave Mum (Jen) a lovely time in the hunter classes at local County Shows.

Ella Gee had a super season on Orielton Barnowl having come from Nursery stakes to open 133cms. WHP classes very successfully and ended by gaining a place on the area 12 WHP team at the BSPS Summer Champs and winning at the Welsh Championship show.

An exciting prospect for next year is Hercules a Trakehner stallion, who has only recently been broken but won first time out in the 4yr old sports horse class at Pembrokeshire County Show and is now ready to be graded and start his eventing career.
